Montini cruises to win

Whitney Holloway had 13 points, 6 assists and 6 steals as top-ranked Montini rolled to a 70-22 victory against Chicago Christian in Palos Heights.

Kiki Wilson added 11 points and 5 steals, Hailey Adams 10 points and Kasey Reaber 5 steals for Montini (8-0, 3-0 Suburban Christian Blue).

Neuqua Valley 65, Batavia 35: Megan Doody poured in 21 points and Malia Smith 20 for the No. 5 Wildcats at the Oswego Holiday Classic. Neuqua (8-1) blew the game open in the second quarter, outscoring Batavia 22-8.

Oswego 51, Glenbard East 39: Paige Harmon scored 16 points to pace the host team at the Oswego Holiday Classic. Maggie Angst scored 15 points and Michaela Stranski 13 for Glenbard East (1-9).

WW South 58, Maine West 42: Leading by just 2 points at halftime, the host Tigers took control by outscoring Maine West 16-5 in the third quarter. Kasey Gassensmith poured in 15 points and Annie Shain 11 for WW South (7-2).

Fenwick 53, Benet 41: The cold-shooting Redwings went 7 of 26 from the 3-point line and made just 4 of 13 free throws in losing at Oark Park. Ashley Veselik led Benet (6-4, 2-1 East Suburban Catholic Conference) with 10 points. Kathleen Roche scored 15 points and Sarah 12 for Fenwick.

Timothy Christian 37, Ridgewood 23: Cassidy Block scored 17 points to pace the visiting Trojans (5-3, 2-1 Metro Suburban Conference).
