Dist. 54 assistant superintendent announces retirement
Mohsin Dada, assistant superintendent for business services at Schaumburg Township Elementary School District 54, will be retiring effective June 30, 2011.
Dada announced his decision in a letter to school officials, saying it made sense to step down at this time and thanking them for the opportunity to work for the district.
Dada was hired as District 54's chief business official in 1996, after working previously in a similar role at Naperville Unit School District 203.
In 2005, he earned the Distinguished Eagle Award, an honor that named him one of the top four school business officials in the nation. He's also served as board president of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials.
“During my years as Chief School Business Official, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed each and every day working with my colleagues in this business, helping the children in our community, Dada said in his resignation letter.
