Fox Valley farmers' markets

Algonquin

The Downtown Algonquin Farmers' Market: opened May 20 through Sept. 30, the fourth annual market will run from 1 to 7 p.m. every Thursday in the municipal lot on South Harrison, behind Algonquin State Bank.

Crystal Lake

The 2010 Crystal Lake Farmers' Market: opening Saturday, June 5 and ending Oct. 16, the market will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at Depot Park, 70 E. Woodstock St.

East Dundee

The Old Dundee Farmers' Market: opened May 8 and ending Oct. 30, the market will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at 319 N. River St.

Elgin

• The Fox Valley Farmers' Market: opening Friday, June 4 and ending Sept. 24, the new seasonal open-air market will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday in the parking lot at the 800 block of North State Street.

• The Downtown Elgin Harvest Market: opened May 27 and ending Oct. 7, the market will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday at the Civic Center parking lot on the corner of East Highland and Douglas avenues. The market will be open until 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month.

Huntley

The Huntley Farmers' Market: opening Saturday, June 5 and ending Oct. 2, the market will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at Huntley Square, on Coral Street between Church and Woodstock streets.

Woodstock

The Woodstock Farmers' Market: opened May 22 and ending Oct. 30, the market will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Saturday at Woodstock Square, corner of Cass and North Johnson streets.
