Deerfield 53, Streamwood 52: A fourth-quarter comeback bid fell just short for the Sabres (2-11) in a loss at the Wheeling Wildcat Hardwood Classic. Brandon Larkin-Guilfoyle paced the Sabres with 15 points. Jacob Siewert added 9 points while Brent Kiesel chipped in 8 points.

Chicago Latin 69, St. Edward 54: Antonio Domel and Eddie O'Halloran each poured in 12 points for the Green Wave (5-9) but it wasn't enough as Chicago Latin prevailed at the Immaculate Conception Christmas tournament. Davontae Elam added 8 points off the bench.

Men's basketball

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 81, Judson University 64: The Eagles (3-12) fell behind early and could not recover against host University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Landon Skinner (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Caleb Sutton (14 points, 10 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles for the Eagles. Nick Morgan and Josh Edwards finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
