Vista hosts Trick-or-Treat Family Health Fest Oct. 16
WAUKEGAN, IL. – Calling all ghouls, goblins, witches, and black cats! Vista Health System will host its annual Trick-or-Treat Fall Family Health Fest at the Vista Surgery and Freestanding Emergency Centers on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to dress up and join Vista for healthy seasonal fun.
Trick-or-treat stations will be set up throughout the center with information, games and candy for kids and their parents. Visitors will have a chance to tour Vista's Surgery and Treatment Center and see the site of the newly opened Lindenhurst Freestanding Emergency Center. No reservations are needed for this open house event.
“The Fall Family Health Fest is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, obtain vital health information and have fun,” said Barbara Martin, President and CEO of Vista Health System. “We're proud to be a vital part of Lake County, and the Fall Family Health Fest is a great way to invite the community to our Lindenhurst campus so local residents can get a better idea of the services we offer.”
In addition to trick-or-treating (costumes optional) throughout the facility, the Fall Family Health Fest will feature a teddy bear clinic, balloons, free cider and cookies, as well as free cholesterol and blood pressure screenings. Vista also will offer drive-thru flu shots for $20 per person (ages 18+ only; cash or check).
