Scholarship offered to Dundee-Crown student, graduate

The Douglas Cutinello Memorial Scholarship Fund will award a scholarship to a Dundee-Crown High School student or graduate who plans to continue their education at a university, two- or four-year college, vocational or business school of higher learning in the United States.

The scholarship, in honor of this longtime Sleepy Hollow resident, is designed to celebrate his passion for life and the continuation of charitable efforts on his behalf.

One $2,500 nonrenewable scholarship will be presented to the student who best meets the criteria set forth in this application as determined by the selection committee. The scholarship will be administered by the Douglas Cutinello Memorial Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit corporation.

The recipient shall be selected based on: academic performance or improvement during high school career; and personal response to essay.
