Schaumburg Battle of Bands July 19

Teen bands from Schaumburg Township interested in entering the township library district’s Battle of the Bands competition next month can submit a recorded audition by 10 p.m. June 30.

One song should be emailed to the library at teenservices@stdl.org on MP3 or via a link to a Website like Purevolume, MySpace or YouTube.

The competition will take place outdoors from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 in Schaumburg’s Town Square at the southwest corner of Schaumburg and Roselle roads.

All band members must be no older than 21 on the day of the competition and be available to set up at 5 p.m. For more information, call (847) 923-3193.
