Register for Addison Parks summer softball league
If you enjoy playing the field – infield or outfield – during the summer, call your friends, dust off your softball glove and get ready for some friendly competition in the Addison Park District's Summer Softball League.
The 12-game season is played on week nights at either Centennial Park or Nike Park. Teams may have between 15 and 21 players and will compete for a sizeable monetary first-place award.
Co-ed teams can still register for 14-inch mushball on Wednesday nights.
The season begins on May 11 and team members must be at least 18 years of age. The Wednesday night league will compete at Nike Park. Each team will play 12 weeks with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.
New this summer, high school students will have a league of their own. Each team must have between 15 to 21 players, freshman through seniors, to compete in the Men's 12-inch softball league. Games begin Wednesday, May 18 and will be played for 12 weeks at Centennial Park. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs to compete for a 1st place cash prize.
Teams can still register for the 12-inch men's softball league. Team members must be 18 years of age or older. Games will be played on Thursday nights in Centennial Park beginning Thursday, May 12. The 12-game season will conclude with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs to compete for a 1st place cash prize.
There are only a few spots left for teams to register in the men's 16-inch softball league. Players must be at least 18 years of age. Games will be played on Friday nights in Centennial Park beginning Friday, May 13. This season also lasts 12 weeks with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs to compete for a 1st place cash prize.
