Creamy Chutney Spread

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

3 tablespoons curry powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 jar (8.5 ounces) store-bought fruit chutney (such as Stonewall Kitchen Old Farmhouse Chutney)

2 bunches green onions, trimmed and sliced

10 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

ΒΌ cup toasted pecans, coarsely chopped

In a small bowl or food processor, combine cream cheese and curry powder and salt until thoroughly blended.

Spread cheese mixture in bottom of a 9-inch quiche or pie plate. Spread the chutney over the cheese mixture.

Sprinkle evenly with onions, bacon and pecans.

Serve with rosemary garlic crackers or crackers of your choice.

Serves eight to 10.
