Golash will promote core values in D211

When we witness our young student population not reaching higher levels of achievement we should elect those individuals to our school board that can emphasize core values and instill leadership. This is what Roman Golash can bring to School District 211.

Our youth is subjected to a constant barrage of drugs, profanity, questionable TV and movie content, and the notion that everything is acceptable in one form or another.

We have great community leaders that have come from military backgrounds such as Colin Powell and Norman Schwarzkopf which are recognized in the Academy of Achievement (Washington D.C.), they share status with Rosa Parks and Sir Edmund Hillary.

Roman is fully in step with the attributes of these great leaders. What Roman brings is a focus on duty, honor, selfless service, integrity, respect, personal courage, along with critical thinking on what builds strong character.

Our school system has lost focus on these values and having an individual like Roman will not only bring balance to District 211 with core values, but fiscal responsibility that ensures each student receives a curriculum that they will be inspired to achieve.

The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, they need to demonstrate  leadership more than ever.
