Higgins is ready to do job in legislature

With less than six weeks to go until Election Day, the races for the U.S. Senate and governor seem to be dominating the news headlines as of late.

It is the local races that can have the biggest impact on our state that need to be looked at as just as important. The race for state representative in the 56th District could help tip the balance of power away from Speaker Madigan.

Here the residents of Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Roselle, Elk Grove Village and Bloomingdale have a clear choice. We can choose the candidate who refuses to put her party identification on her campaign literature or the candidate that has been very candid with the voters throughout the district about who he is and what he plans to do in Springfield.

What we need now more than ever in Springfield is someone who is going to go there to shake things up and fight to take the gavel away from Speaker Madigan.

In the race for the 56th district, there is only one candidate in this race that will do just that: Ryan Higgins. He has spent the past year going door-to-door all throughout this district talking to Republicans, Democrats and Independents about his vision for Illinois.

He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes and will take that same passion and energy down to Springfield.

In this race, there is only one clear choice. On Nov. 2, I am supporting Ryan Higgins for state representative for the 56th District.
