Incoming junior high students can meet at poolside party

Get the pool party started at Meineke Pool!

Incoming junior high students in District 54 and area parochial schools will experience a private pool party during the Schaumburg Park District’s incoming junior high students seventh- and eighth-grade Poolside Party from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, July 13, at Meineke Pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

“This splashtastic event will give incoming seventh and eighth graders the opportunity to meet new classmates and enjoy the pool,” said Gwen Strombeck, Meineke Recreation Center Manager.

Participants ages 11 to 13 will enjoy swimming, food, games and cannonball, fastest lap swim and biggest splash contests.

Cost is $15 per participant; pizza and soda are included in the fee. Participants must bring their own towel.
