This was an average-sized Great Blue Heron (about 4 ft. tall) eating the biggest bullfrog I have ever seen! Took him over 20 minutes to swallow it. Taken at Hidden Lake Forest Preserve in Downers Grove, IL on 8-7-17.

This was taken at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. I love this picture because it brings out the vibrancy and the colors of the State Fair. It speaks of the happy mood people have when they visit the fair.

I took this photo while in a gondola in Venice, Italy. I wanted to capture the brightly painted houses that lined the canals.

This photo was taken inside the LBJ Presidential Library and Museum in Austin, TX. this past June. It shows the area where 40 million pages of LBJ documents are in climate controlled storage. I liked all the rectangle shapes creating the bigger picture. The black granite monument pulls the viewer up the staircase to the document wall.

Ron Rawson of Geneva
This is a photo of Bryce Amphitheatre in Bryce National Canyon (Utah). While on a road trip last month there were plenty of chances to snap photos of landscapes, sunsets, and petroglyphs. This is one of my favorites.
