Lake in the Hills 10K,5K registration open

Discover the hills in Lake in the Hills by participating at Run Thru The Hills on Sunday, April 15.

This popular and challenging course will give participants the taste of the rolling terrain that surrounds Woods Creek Lake in the mature section of town. Bring the whole family — there are walk, run and strolling distances for all ages.

Register online at www.signmeup.com. The deadline for online registration through signmeup.com will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 11.

To register by mail, submit the registration form and a check made payable to Village of Lake in the Hills, Attn: Run Thru the Hills, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156.

Online registration at www.lith.org ends at 3 p.m. Friday, April 8.

In-person registration will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Running Depot, 30E N. Williams St. in Crystal Lake.

In-person race-day registration will be held from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Sunday, April 15 at the race day headquarters at the Lake in the Hills Movie Theater, 311 Randall Road.

The start times are 8 a.m. for the 10K and 5K races, and 9:15 a.m. for the Molehill Races, kids races. Pre-race and post-race injury screenings will be provided by AthletiCo.
