Mead Jr. High celebrates 30 years
Past and current families, teachers and principals of Margaret Mead Junior High School in Elk Grove Village are being invited back for the 30th anniversary of Schaumburg Township District 54’s newest school.
The anniversary celebration takes place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at the school, 1765 Biesterfield Road.
Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson will give a special Mead proclamation and a DJ will provide musical entertainment. There will be hot dogs, pizza and Dippin Dots available for purchase.
