Alden Hebron 66, Harvest Christian 59: The Lions (8-15) carried a 50-47 lead into the fourth quarter, but were unable to secure the victory as they fell at home. John Vislisel (21 points), Stuart Wolff (15 points), and Kyle Fritz (11 points) all recorded double-digits for Harvest Christian.

Walther Lutheran 46, St. Edward 29: Adrian Ponce and Troy Gudino scored 6 points each for the Green Wave (9-15, 2-7), but Walther Lutheran was too much in this Suburban Christian Blue matchup in Melrose Park. A 14-8 surge by the Broncos in the third quarter put away any hope of a comeback for the Green Wave.

Men’s basketball

Prairie State Community College 76, McHenry County College 57: The Scots (10-15, 4-7) could not recover from a double-digit halftime deficit as they fell in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference action. Eric Wilde led the Scots with 17 points while Marcus Marshall and LeBarron Hull added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
