Wear a hat for women’s health in McHenry County

The Centegra Hospital-Woodstock Auxiliary encourages women of all ages to wear a hat for women’s health in McHenry County during the 10th annual Mad Hatters Luncheon Wednesday, May 9. Tickets are still available.
The event begins with a silent auction preview at 10 a.m. at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by a live auction. Proceeds will benefit the Centegra Gavers Breast Center.
“Centegra Health System depends on the community’s support to sustain quality health care for our friends and families,” said Sally Welter, auxiliary president. “Taking an afternoon away from day-to-day stresses and attending this popular women’s event will help model the way toward a healthier McHenry County. Our luncheon has become a wonderful spring tradition for many local women. It is a unique event that is entertaining and fun but with a definite purpose to ensure the women in our community have access to the highest quality health care right here in our own community,” she added.
Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10 and may be purchased in person or by mail. Tickets sell out quickly so reserve a table early. To order tickets by mail, make checks payable to the Centegra Hospital-Woodstock Auxiliary and send to: Auxiliary Mad Hatters Luncheon, P.O. Box 662, Woodstock, IL 60098. Reservations also may be made in person at the Woodstock branch of American Community Bank and Trust, 1290 Lake Ave. Corporate sponsorships also are available to help underwrite the event.
