Dancing, pizza draw partyers to Schaumburg Twp. Halloween Dance
On Friday, Oct. 18, a record number of people attended a Halloween Dance for young adults with intellectual disabilities, which was hosted by Schaumburg Township Disability Services.
Guests, many in costumes, came ready to dance and enjoy pizzas that were donated by Katy Garcia from Riccardo’s Ristorante in Schaumburg.
DJ Eric Brandt played classic Halloween songs throughout the night as individuals competed in the best dance and best costume contests. Ten winners from each contest were awarded Target gift cards. Before the night was over, more lucky winners won raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
