Schaumburg Chilly Chili 5K Race Dec. 4:

The Schaumburg Park District's annual 5K Chilly Chili Race will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Runners will brave the cold of a chilly December morning before warming up afterward with a chili lunch. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners as well as the first, second and third place winners in 12 age categories for both men and women.

Registration is $36 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the day of the race. All participants must complete an entry form, available at park district facilities or online at parkfun.com.

All participants will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt, a chili lunch and one free soda or beer (for participants 21 and older). For more information, call (847) 490-7020 or visit parkfun.com.
