Santa to land in Schaumburg at airport

Celebrate Santa's Flight to Schaumburg from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, at Schaumburg Regional Airport, 903 W. Irving Park Road.

Participants will wait for Santa's arrival by helicopter in the airport's hangar, enjoying a buffet breakfast provided by Pilot Pete's. As Santa approaches, the hangar doors open. Children will have the opportunity to talk with Santa.

Preregistration ends Dec. 3. Register early to avoid the day-of price increase. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 and younger are free and must sit in a parent's lap. All family members in attendance must be registered. The cost for ages 3 to 12 is $9. The cost for ages 13 and up is $16 for residents and $27 for nonresidents.
