Westminster Christian 50, Somonauk 42: Despite being down by 3 points at the end of the first quarter, the Warriors (10-6) took a 24-19 lead into halftime and never looked back as they defeated Somonauk at home.

Ryan Beachler and Steve Hoeflich paced the Warriors, turning in double-digit performances with 14 and 10 points, respectively.

St. Edward 54, Danville Schlarman 42: The Green Wave (8-11) started and finished strong to down Schlarman in nonconference action at Bloomington Central Catholic. Paul Bianchi led the Green Wave with 17 points while Mike Ellis also added double-figures with 12 points.

Christian Liberty 61, Elgin Academy 50: The Hilltoppers (4-13) gave up 28 points in the first quarter and were never really able to recover as they fell to tournament host Christian Liberty. Aaron Thomas led the Hilltoppers with 17 points while Connor Flexman added 12 points.

Lake Forest Academy 59, Elgin Academy 34: In their second game of the day, the Hilltoppers (4-13) found themselves behind by 20 points at halftime and their comeback effort came up short as they were defeated by Lake Forest Academy at the Christian Liberty Tournament. Paul Leonardis was the lone Hilltopper to reach double-digits with 14 points.

Elgin Academy 56, Luther East 45: The Hilltoppers finished the day strong as they defeated Luther East to finish in third-place at the Christian Liberty Tournament. Paul Leonardis poured in 22 points to pace the Hilltoppers while Aaron Thomas and freshman Martin Diaz de Leon added 12 points apiece. Leonardis was also named to the All-Tournament team for his efforts.
