Auditions for ‘Santa’s Dilemma’ and ‘Willy Wonka Junior’

Actors and actresses are needed for Schaumburg Park District’s fall and winter musicals.

Auditions for “Willy Wonka Junior” and “Santa’s Dilemma” productions will be from 1 to 3:15 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, and 5 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Parts are available for ages 7 to 20 for “Willy Wonka Junior” and ages 7 to adult for “Santa’s Dilemma.” Auditioning actors must bring a nonreturnable head shot (or school picture) marked with name, age, address and phone number. Those auditioning must prepare a short a cappella song. The fee if cast in a production is $70. An additional costume fee may be charged.

Preregistration is required. Time slots to audition and registration are available at parkfun.com and district registration facilities. If not registered, actors will have to wait for an open time slot.
