Meadows tops Hersey in two

Host Rolling Meadows topped Hersey 25-21, 26-24 to improve to 10-3 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-Suburban East boys volleyball race.

Kevin Murphy had a team-best 10 kills for the Mustangs, and Tim Ellis and Tom Srnak had 7 apiece.

Brett Frey was 61-for-62 setting with 31 assists, and Peter Nickle came up with 14 digs.

Bart Migus was the top attacker for Hersey with 7 kills, and Matt Torvik was 38-for-39 setting with 13 assists.
