Three different players scored goals and five different players figured in the scoring Saturday as the Burlington Central boys soccer team downed Yorkville 4-1 in the Rockets' own tournament.
Kyle Reopelle scored twice while Alejandro Nava and Christopher Gousios each had single knocks for the Rockets (2-0). Nava had 2 assists for BC with Cameron Lebrecht and Erick Uribe adding one each.
Matthew Dahlberg had 2 saves and Riley Jensen stopped one shot on goal for the Rockets.
Highland Park 3, Dundee-Crown 2: Kyle Hagan and Juan Lopez each scored for Dundee-Crown (2-2) in this loss at the North Shore Country Day Invitational. Lopez and Malik Washington each had assists for the Chargers and Scott Nowicke had 5 saves in goal.
CL South 2, Hampshire 2: Mike Hernandez and Sam Murdock scored for the Gators (1-1-1) in the final round of the CL South Invite. Alex Tapia added an assist. Round Lake won the tournament with a 2-0-1 record.
Oak Park-River Forest 2, Larkin 1: Tony Mendoza scored the lone goal for the Royals (1-2) at the Leyden tournament. Santiago Guerrero made 4 saves in the net for Larkin.
Westminster Christian 7, St. Edward 0: Josh Beachler and Steven Hoeflich each had 2 goals as the Warriors rolled over the Green Wave at the Westminster tournament. Ian Dutcher had 8 saves in goal for Westminster.
