Board Changes at Orchard Village
At its Annual Meeting on June 27, 2023, Orchard Village's Board of Directors elected a new board member, renewed the term for a current board member, and elevated a retiring board member to emeritus status.
The Board elected Kimberly Goldstein to a three-year term of service. Goldstein is the inaugural president of JMB Insurance (JMBI). In her role, she focuses on the agency's strategic growth and manages the day-to-day operations of its growing, global base 2,000 of customers. As part of the agency's executive team, she helps secure and advance JMBI's position as a leader in risk management services across industries, including Hospitality, Manufacturing, Mortgage Banking, Private Equity, Real Estate and Technology.
Corey Noland, a Director with BMO Harris Bank, was elected for a second term to the Board. Noland is an experienced relationship manager with 16 years of experience in corporate banking focusing on financial analysis, cross-selling, and relationship building for mid-market and large corporate clients. He specializes in financial modeling, client interaction, risk analysis, advising, structuring transactions, and developing new clients. Noland currently serves as the Board Treasurer and Co-Chair of Orchard Village's annual Golf Classic, which is scheduled for August 7 at Westmoreland Country Club, Wilmette.
The Board applauded and recognized the many years of service of retiring board member Donna Pleason. A volunteer and family member of a person supported by Orchard Village, Pleason has served in the past as the Board President, a member of many committees (including the Finance and the Development Committees), and the Chair of the annual Blossom Gala. Over the years, Pleason and her husband Gary have been wonderful ambassadors for the agency and raised many dollars and friends for the cause. The board elected Pleason to Emeritus Status, where she will continue to be a member of the board.
