Naperville North earns 20th victory
Naperville North ended its regular-season schedule with victory No. 20 on Wednesday, beating West Chicago 66-47 in a DuPage Valley Conference game in Naperville.
Joe McNicholas scored 13 points and James O'Shaughnessy scored 11 for Naperville North, which moved to 20-6 and 9-5 in the DVC. West Chicago (3-23, 1-13) was led by Charles Jacques' 12 points.
WW South 47, West Aurora 34: Earning revenge over a prior DuPage Valley Conference loss to the Blackhawks, host WW South (19-7, 10-4) outscored West Aurora 18-2 in the second quarter. Will Dolatowski and Reilly O'Toole scored 16 points apiece to share game honors with West Aurora's Juwan Starks. Kyle Pilmer added 11 points for West Aurora (11-15, 6-8).
St. Francis 62, Streamwood 48: Winning its fifth straight headed into the Class 3A playoffs, St. Francis (12-13) won the nonconference game in Wheaton. Larry Murison scored a game-high 18 points while Ryan Coyle scored 16 with 12 rebounds and Joe Pfeiffer added 13 points for the Spartans.
