Mooseheart's 9th Easter Egg Hunt takes off April 13
One of the most popular suburban Easter egg hunts returns for its ninth straight year Saturday, April 13.
This is when Mooseheart fills its artificial turf football field with 18,000 plastic eggs and other Easter-related goodies - all of which are collected in less than five minutes from the start of the egg hunt by a gathering of 4,000 children.
The Easter egg hunt on the football field begins at 11 a.m., and gates open at 10 a.m. The egg hunt is for toddlers to children ages 8 and younger.
Other activities continue to 1 p.m. and take place inside and near to the Mooseheart Field House, which is adjacent to the football field. These include pony rides, face painting, a bounce house and a petting zoo. The Easter Bunny also will be on-hand and available for free photographs.
There is a $5 parking fee per car.
Easter egg hunters and their families are advised to arrive early so as to not miss the hunt.
