Schaumburg Library Provides Summer Meal Boxes to Kids

Free summer meals for children ages 18 years and younger will be available from noon to 2 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Wednesday, June 2 through Friday, Aug. 13 at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Road. The boxed meals will be offered while supplies last and may be picked up from the library by parents or guardians to bring home to their children.

Adults may use Curbside Pick-Up or come inside. Those who choose Curbside Pick-Up should park in the designated spot and call (630) 372-7800.

Free Summer Meals are part of the Summer Food Service Program funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are open to the public with limited capacity and hours in accordance with COVID guidelines. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
