Winfield Woods fall coat drive a success

Winfield Woods is excited to announce the results of a fall coat drive that kicked off the holiday season. Together, we made a difference. We asked our families, community partners and even had a few residents who wanted to donate a new or gently used coat.

The local Whirlybird's 4-H Group also collected several coats to donate too.

In addition, for each of the 67 coats collected, Winfield Woods is matching every donation for a total of 134 coats being donated.

Most importantly, all coats are going directly back into the community we serve.

We are proud to announce our donation partner, People's Resource Center of DuPage County located at 201 S Naperville Road in Wheaton, who will be receiving and distributing the 134 coats to those in need.

The coat drive ran from Oct. 27 to Dec. 2.

New or gently used coats were dropped off to Winfield Woods, 28W141 Liberty St. in Winfield.

Big thank you to everyone for their willingness to assist others during this season of gratitude.
