RMK Management Named Property Manager, Begins Leasing for Single-Family Rental Homes at Clublands of Antioch
RMK Management Corp., one of the Midwest's largest market-rate apartment management firms, has been named property manager for Clublands of Antioch, a new-construction development by Moda Homes that will offer 110 single-family rental homes in Antioch, Ill.
Construction is complete for the community's first phase of 31 two-story single-family homes, which is 10% leased and has already welcomed first move-ins. Clublands of Antioch's second phase of rental homes, most of which feature ranch floor plan designs, is under construction and has begun pre-leasing.
"The options are scarce for a luxury single-family rental home in the Antioch area, so interest has been strong at Clublands of Antioch from those looking to rent a larger, new-construction home with upscale features and finishes," said Anthony Rossi Sr., chairman of Chicago-based RMK Management. Rossi added, in addition to homes at Clublands of Antioch providing large living spaces and four bedrooms, the residences also offer thoughtful design elements not often found in rentals, or even in many for-sale homes. "These home designs have mudrooms, flex spaces for home offices, and what we call an arrival center, where residents can store and organize paperwork and mail," said Rossi. Clublands of Antioch residents can choose from four two-story single-family floor plans, each of which is showcased as an unfurnished model available for tours. Models for the community's rental ranch home designs will be available for touring in mid-June.
The two-story single-family homes each offer four bedrooms and 2½ baths as well as an open-concept family room, dining and kitchen area. The homes, which measure from 1,823 to 3,010 square feet, have a patio, full, unfinished basement, and an attached two-car garage, for which electric vehicle charging is available.
Two-story residences include a main level with a front-loaded two-car garage, powder room, coat closet, private patio and open-concept kitchen, dining and family room. The second level features an owner's suite with a large bath and walk-in closet, three secondary bedrooms, a full hall bath and a laundry room with full-size washer/dryer.
Designed to meet the needs of today's renters and families, the homes include modern conveniences and design elements for the work-from-home lifestyle, said Rossi. Three of the floor plans have a first-floor flex room, ideal as a home office, while the largest design features a flex room and a study, which is great if two household members work or study remotely and need privacy.
Each home also has a family entry located off the garage, which serves as a mudroom, where residents can organize and manage school, sports, pet items and other household gear. Some homes feature an arrival center, which is a built-in desk designed to help organize and contain mail and paperwork and serve as a technology charging station.
All rental single-family homes have 9-foot first-floor ceilings, NEST thermostats, plank-style flooring throughout the main living areas and carpeting in bedrooms. Kitchens have luxury finishes such as quartz countertops, 42-inch kitchen cabinetry with crown molding, kitchen islands and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a double oven, 6-burner gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator.
Clublands of Antioch is a pet-friendly community, allowing cats and dogs, in accordance with the community's pet policy. Rossi added that the community's grounds offer plenty of green space and outdoor areas for walking dogs and enjoying outdoor recreation.
Located at 1880 White Lake Dr. in a quiet residential area about one hour north of downtown Chicago, just west of Interstate 94 and near Route 45 and Route 173, Clublands of Antioch is near a variety of parks, forest preserves and many lakes, such as the adjacent Homer White Lake. Residents are near major retailers such as Walmart, Jewel-Osco and Aldi, as well as a variety of restaurants and coffee shops.
The village of Antioch, located in Lake County, has a population around 14,000. Nestled into the Chain O'Lakes waterway system, Antioch borders the state of Wisconsin and is located approximately halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Residents will be served by Hillcrest Elementary School, Antioch Upper Grade School and Antioch Community High School.
