Itasca Waterpark opens for the summer

The Itasca Park District announced that the Itasca Waterpark will be open July 6 to Aug. 2.

Patrons will have the opportunity to pre-purchase designated 90-minute public swim time slots online.

Public Swim will be provided in daily time sessions with 50 patrons in three different pool sections.

Residents wishing to swim at the Itasca Waterpark will have to preregister and pay $5 per person for the time slot they wish to swim.

Registration will only be done online at www.itascaparkdistrict.com and residents must have an active household account.

Nonresidents to the Itasca Park District can book a public swim session, the day prior if there are available openings for $10 per person.

It is strongly recommended that nonresidents call the park district at (630) 773-2257 and confirm that they have a current registered household in the district's system.

Itasca Waterpark will also be offering a youth competitive swim clinic and an open high school swim clinic for residents and nonresidents.

These clinic are open for registration and will take place starting Wednesday, July 8.

Registration can be done online at www.itascaparkdistrict.com.

Private pool party rentals will also be available for groups of 50 or less and can be requested by contacting the park district for available dates and times by calling (630) 773-2257.

The Itasca Park District Waterpark will be following all guidelines put in place by the Illinois Department of Health, Jeff Ellis & Associates Inc., and the Park District Risk Management Agency.
