VFW honors Glenbard East teacher with Teacher of Year Award

On May 19, the 19th District of the Veterans of Foreign Wars honored Glenbard East social studies teacher Victor Swanson with its 2018 Teacher of the Year Award. The award recognizes teachers for their outstanding commitment to teaching American values and patriotism.

Swanson was chosen from a pool of nominees representing 25 VFW Local organizations and more than 20 Auxiliary organizations.
