Enjoy a variety of concerts, Sunday afternoons at Schaumburg Library

This fall, Schaumburg Township District Library is ready to help you relax and enjoy some lovely Sunday afternoons with the Sunday Sounds concert series.

On Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1:30 p.m., enjoy contemporary Broadway hits with vocalist Layni Katz and pianist Deane Myers. You'll hear show stoppers from "Hello Dolly," "A Chorus Line," "The Lion King" and much more. Registration is open now.

Join singer/songwriter Kraig Kenning on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1:30 p.m. as he takes you on a journey with his original tunes. Kraig merges contemporary folk, acoustic blues, roots rock and American fingerstyle for a unique sound that creates a personal connections with each audience. Registration is open now.

On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1:30 p.m., Chicago Cossacks will perform traditional Ukranian music. The Ukrainian and international folk music and dance ensemble Chicago Cossacks was created in 1993 and since then has been entertaining people of the Greater Chicago area and beyond. Registration is open now.

All Sunday Sounds concerts take place in the Central Library Rasmussen Room. Visit SchaumburgLibrary.org/events or call (847) 985-4000 to register or to learn more about these programs. The Central Library is located at 130 S. Roselle Road, in Schaumburg.
