Volunteer Squad brings in-person volunteer opportunities for teens back to Schaumburg Library

Schaumburg Township District Library is hosting FAQ sessions regarding the return of its popular Volunteer Squad on Tuesday, March 8 and Saturday, March 12.

Schaumburg Library's Volunteer Squad offers summer volunteer opportunities for students entering grades 8-11. Volunteer Squad members will assist Library staff in making the Library's Summer Challenge a success. The Library is hosting two FAQ sessions to explain volunteer responsibilities, the application process and includes time for questions from students and their caregivers.

Volunteer Squad FAQ sessions will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 6-7 p.m. and Saturday, March 12, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Central Library's Rasmussen Room. Students should attend with a caregiver.

Registration is open now. Visit SchaumburgLibrary.org/events or call (847) 985-4000 to register or to learn more. The Central Library is located at 130 S. Roselle Rd. in Schaumburg.
