Streamwood Knights Supporting Homeless Veterans & Food Pantry

Later this month we celebrate Memorial Day. As the famous song by Billy Ray Cyrus says, "All gave some - some gave all." In honor of those that gave all, and to those that gave some and are struggling, Mary's Millennium Council once again appeals to the community to assist us in helping our homeless veterans.

Leave No Hero Behind

It is sad to say that there are veterans in our midst left behind due to homelessness, joblessness, poverty and/or mental health issues. The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans (MSHV) mission is to "Leave No Hero Behind." This fits nicely with the Knights of Columbus' "Leave No Neighbor Behind." Working together we can make a difference in the lives of these veterans.
