Library program prepares kids for kindergarten

Five-year-olds are welcome to prepare for school by attending "Ready, Set, Kindergarten" from 11-11:45 p.m. July 29, 30, 31 and Aug. 1 in the Craft Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road.

During the four-day series, children will participate in stories, songs and crafts while learning how to be a good student. The program is only for children entering kindergarten this fall. Participants must attend all four sessions.

There is no fee for this program, but registration is required. To register, call the KidZone Desk at (847) 923-3439.

More information on library programs and events is available in the library's June-July Guide, which is mailed to Schaumburg Township residents and available online at SchaumburgLibrary.org.
