Cary Park District sets summer concert lineup

Wind down a hot and busy summer day with an evening in the park enjoying soulful songs, rock favorites and local talent with family and friends.

Cary Park District's Summer Concert in the Park Series offers a wide variety of musical genres in its 2021 lineup including pop, country, rock 'n' roll hits, and oldies. All concerts are held Thursdays beginning at 7 p.m. at the Lions Park Rotary Bandshell, on Silver Lake Road, north of Three Oaks Road in Cary. All concerts are free.

First up on June 17, is Wild Daisy one of the most dynamic female fronted country bands in the Chicago area. This band plays current, upbeat country, with a few pop/rock songs thrown in.

Next, on June 24, One Night Band takes the stage. One Night Band creates a high energy evening to remember while you shake it to decades of Rock n' Roll, cut a rug to Motown's finest, bust a move to some hip-hop, get down with a lil' country and sing your heart out to a Pop Rock guilty pleasure.

On July 15, sit back and relax to the classic sounds of the 1960s and '70s with The StingRays. On July 22, Rock around the clock with The Allstars as they perform their own brand of party, dance, and straight up rock that will get your feet moving and your hands clapping!
