Revolutionary War Weekend draws hundreds to Cantigny for America's 250th celebration

Hundreds of people came together to celebrate America's 250th at Cantigny during the first day of Revolutionary War Weekend Saturday in Wheaton.

As part of Cantigny’s America 250 celebration, reenactors relived history with battle reenactments by North West Territory Alliance, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, Fife and Drum Corps and much more. Visitors were able to get a feel for camp life, experience a battle and take in the sights and sounds of the 18th century.

The event will continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
