Dining Out: $1.20 anniversary drink specials in Bartlett and ‘fry’ January at Morton’s

Time to celebrate

120 Live Bartlett is celebrating its five-year presence in the community’s downtown and its first year under new ownership.

While the official ownership anniversary falls on Jan. 15, they’ll kick off the party early with an anniversary weekend Friday through Sunday, Jan. 9-11, with $1.20 drink specials, unique food offerings and in-house giveaways.

The neighborhood bar and restaurant, at 120 W. Bartlett Ave., features homemade dishes, rotating weekly events, and live performances from local and regional artists.

Fry January

If you’re not practicing a dry January, maybe you’ll enjoy “fry” January at Morton’s The Steakhouse with their Bubbles & Bites Box.

The $29 bar-only special available during January pairs a glass of Veuve Clicquot “Yellow Label” or a Belvedere martini with gourmet sliders (smash burgers or fried chicken) and truffle and Parmesan matchstick fries.

They have suburban locations in Naperville, Northbrook, Rosemont and Schaumburg.
