Volunteers sought for Volo haunted trail

Like dressing up for Halloween? Are you scary? Funny? The Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside is looking for volunteers 10 or older for its Haunted Trail to be held Oct. 11.

Participants can develop their own character or adapt one of several of the bog's, such as 'Pollution Monster' 'Mother Earth' or 'Old Man and the Bog'.

Trail guardians and group leaders also are needed to regulate the flow of participants. Volunteers should plan to attend an organizational meeting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1.
