Schaumburg announces 2015 Prairie Arts Festival award winners
The Village of Schaumburg recently held its 28th Annual Prairie Arts Festival over Memorial Day weekend and announced the award winners of the festival.
This year's winners include:

Held every year on the grounds of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, the Prairie Arts Festival featured the work of 120 juried fine artists from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Utah and Wisconsin. In addition to the display of digital, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, graphics, jewelry, leather, mixed media 2D, mixed media 3D, painting (including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel), paper, photography, pottery, printmaking, sculpture, and woodworking all crafted by the artist, the Prairie Arts Festival also featured live performances in three different areas on the festival grounds, children's art activities coordinated by the Schaumburg Park District and an array of refreshments provided by five food trucks and five food vendors.
