Elaine Tejcek Artwork at Des Plaines Public Library

The November exhibit in the 3rd floor gallery area of the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Street, will feature oils and watercolors by Elaine Tejcek, a long time resident, member and past vice president of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org). Elaine has been painting on and off all her life and currently works in a representational manner. Her interests center around nature, i.e., florals, landscapes and still life. She says "....by painting the things I like, through visual sharing, my hope is that other people will enjoy the subject matter and the painting, as well."

Elaine displays her artwork at many local art fairs and has received numerous purchase awards and acknowledgments for her work. Her paintings are in several private collections.

For those interested in joining the Des Plaines Art Guild, a membership form can be downloaded at dpag.org.
