New judge in town

Algonquin this week hired veteran Administrative Law Judge David Eterno to oversee the village's newly formed municipal court, which will handle those challenging code, parking and water citations. Currently, residents take those issues to McHenry County Circuit Court in Woodstock. Algonquin's municipal court is due to start trying cases next spring or summer. Eterno also serves as administrative judge in Palatine and Mount Prospect.
