Breakfast at Judson
At 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, Judson University will hold a breakfast event forecasting the outlook of the U.S. economy based on the president-elect's economic policies. The speaker, Armond Dinverno, is a principal and co-president of Balasa Dinverno Foltz LLC. Dinverno has served as part of Charles Schwab's Institutional Advisory Board. Free holiday swim

Central High School Service Club is looking for addresses of families or friends in the Burlington or Hampshire area who are now serving in the military in Iraq or Afghanistan. Huntley church hosts concert
The handbell choirs at the First Congregational Church, Main and Church streets in downtown Huntley, are holding their annual Wassail Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
