•A vandal slashed a tire around 10 a.m. Sept. 17 on a vehicle parked on the 23100 block of Fairview Road, police said. Damage was estimated at $110.
Grayslake
•John W. Wells, 53, 407 Normandy Lane, Grayslake, was arrested Sept. 28 at his home and charged with resisting a peace officer, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 13.
Gurnee
•Burglars entered through an unlocked patio door and stole a designer watch, designer purse and wallet, money, MP3 player, cell phone and other items around 4:45 a.m. Oct. 7 out of a home on the 6900 block of Bradley Drive, police said. Value was estimated at $4,500.
•A vandal in a red Nissan Sentra hurled a rock around 1 p.m. Oct. 7 that smashed the windshield on a 2006 Toyota Corolla on the 700 block of Chandler Road, police said. Damage was estimated at $500.

•Pierre L. Pertiller, 23, 1140 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. Sept. 18 and charged with burglary to motor vehicle after a witness saw him taking loose change out of vehicles parked in a lot at 20420 Rand Road, police said. A court date was not available.

•Vandals smashed a window around 10 p.m. Oct. 2 at a business on the 300 block of Surryse Road but apparently did not enter, police said. Damage was estimated at $500.
•Vandals broke a lock around 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at a business on the 700 block of Route 22 but apparently did not, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
Libertyville
•Eric R. Fulkerson, 17, 1113 Crestfield Ave., Libertyville, was arrested around 5:35 p.m. Oct. 4 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop on the 100 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Nov. 12.
Mundelein
•Jose Luis Ortiz, 45, 524 McKinley Ave., Apt. 18W, Mundelein, was arrested around 11:20 p.m. Sept. 28 and charged with public intoxication and unlawful conduct relating to alcohol after an officer found him with open alcohol and passed out in front of a home on the 500 block of McKinley Avenue, police said. His Mundelein court date was set Nov. 20.
Round Lake Beach
•Samantha Wilson, 17, and Heather Wilson, 18, both of 37544 Columbus Ave., Lake Villa, were arrested around 11:55 p.m. Sept. 24 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, saw them take merchandise and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.
Vernon Hills
•Esteban B. Flores, 28, 139 N. California Ave., Mundelein, was arrested Sept. 29 and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol and aggravated driving under the influence after he fled a property damage accident on Route 45 at the railroad tracks, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 10.
•Nicholas R. Bonadonna, 17, 2075 Sheridan Road, Buffalo Grove, Scott R. Speer, 50, 616 Redwood, Lisle, three girls and one boy 15 years of age, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested Sept. 29 after officers learned of underage drinking at a home on the 100 block of North Southfield Drive, police said. Bonadonna was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting a peace officer; Speer was charged with permitting a violation of the liquor control act and attempted obstructing justice after he allowed the teens to drink at the home and tried to hide them from the officers, reports said. Four juveniles were charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, one girl was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer found a marijuana pipe in her purse, reports added. Speer received a Waukegan court date of Oct 16; the others received a Mundelein court date of Oct. 27.

•Vandals damaged property overnight Sept. 29-30 at the public works facility, 302 Slocum Lake Road, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
•Burglars stole undisclosed items around 2 p.m. Sept. 30 out of a car parked on the 100 block of South Main Street, police said. A value estimate was not available.
•Vandals smashed a window around 2:40 a.m. Oct. 3 at the Clark gas station, 399 W. Liberty St., police said. A damage estimate was not available.
