The Judson University softball team fell into the loser's bracket Friday at the NCCAA National Tournament in Palm Beach, Fla., losing to Olivet Nazarene of Kankakee 10-2 in a five-inning game ended by the slaughter rule.

"We didn't play as a team today like we did (Thursday)," said Judson coach Becky Bruns, whose team opened the national tournament Thursday with 2 wins. "We had 5 hits and they had 8 hits. But they came out ready to play and we didn't."

Nicole Dimiceli had 2 hits for the Eagles (22-20), while Kristin Krueger, Carrie Sensor and Amy Meier each had 1 hit. Krueger and Sensor drove in Judson's runs.
