Georgio's holding rehab center event

Georgio's, 75 E. Woodstock St. Crystal Lake, will host a fundraiser to benefit the Adult & Child Rehab Center from 5 to 11 p.m. today.

Georgio's will donate 15 percent of tonight's net proceeds to the rehab center. Anyone interesting in helping by dining at Georgio's must bring a flier. The flier is available by contacting the Rehab Center at (815) 338-1707 or at adultchildrehabcenter.org.

The Adult & Child Rehab Center provides physical, occupational, speech and lymphedema therapies, as well as nursing care. The Rehab Center accepts most types of insurance.

MCC can help you seek financial aid

A hands-on workshop to complete the federal financial aid form online using college computers will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McHenry County College.

Staff members from the Office of Financial Aid and Veteran Services at MCC will help students and/or parents complete the 2008/2009 application for Federal Student Aid.

The FAFSA form is the required document students must complete in order to be considered for federal and state grants, work-study and student loans.
