Outlook Glenbard North needs a bounce-back game after last week's loss, and it starts with eliminating the numerous costly penalties and turnovers. Beyond that, the Panthers aim to return to their strengths. Running back Evin Natick returned last week after missing four games, rushing for 64 yards on 16 carries. While the Panthers lean on the running game that includes Ben Hester and sophomore Phil Jackson, quarterback Tom Traficanti remains critical to mix the pass with the run. Receiver Mike Carev can hurt teams in numerous ways. Naperville Central's Alex Schaefer and Will Sayer enter the game with 80-plus tackles on the season, and they've come up with many of the key defensive plays in the Redhawks' closest games. Offensively, the Redhawks lean on quarterback Nick Linne, who's thrown for 1,629 yards and rushed for 514 yards. Derek Jancik and Ben Murphy share the rest of the rushing load. The trio of receivers Hayden Daniels, Cam Brate and Brent Zelinski has combined for 98 catches, nearly 1,400 yards and 11 touchdowns. Glenbard North linebackers John Pullia and Chris Wahrman, along with lineman Nick Abbate and defensive back Brandon Salemi, continue to anchor the Panthers' defense.
