Waubonsie Valley d. South Elgin: The Storm (1-6-1, 0-2) had a rough night offensively and suffered an Upstate Eight Conference loss 25-19, 25-17 at Waubonsie Valley. Sarah Havermann led the Storm offense with 8 digs while Courtney Sanocki recorded 6 assists and Alyssa Krause had 3 kills.

Jacobs d. Antioch: The Golden Eagles (3-6) came out slow but were able to come back and steal a nonconference victory over Antioch in 3 games 12-25, 25-23, 25-22. Alyssa Ehrhardt led Golden Eagles' attack with 12 kills and 2 aces to go along with her 6 digs. Mattie Steams recorded 24 digs while Rebecca Jobst added 16 digs. Becky DePaepe led the team with 9 assists.

Burlington Central d. Winnebago: The Rockets (9-5) used strong serving (11 aces) and wasted no time defeating Winnebago 25-17, 25-20 in this nonconference victory at Winnebago.Senior Stephanie Holthus had an all-around match for the Rockets recording a team leading 10 kills to go with 4 aces and 7 digs. Taylor Scully added 3 aces and 3 kills while Kaitlyn O'Reilly recorded 14 assists.

Hampshire d. Stillman Valley: The Whip-Purs (10-2) continued their winning ways by edging out Stillman Valley 25-16, 20-25, 25-19 for this road victory. Amy Wehrs (11 kills, 5 digs) and Kara Wehrs (11 kills, 10 digs, 15 assists) led Hampshire both offensively and defensively while Leigh-Anne Libby added 11 assists in the victory.
