Outlook The post Katie Yohn-era begins at St. Edward but the two-time all-area captain who is now playing at Bradley certainly didn't leave the cupboard bare. In fact, Dawson believes the Green Wave might have a more balanced team this season. "The overall talent level is up and we'll be more balanced this year," she said. "The freshman group last year got a lot of experience." Kerr averaged 9.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season, while Ranallo, who will run the point, scored 9 points and had 3.2 assists per game last season. Johnson scored 8 points per game and pulled down 5.2 rebounds. The Wave has also added Medinger and McShane to the roster. The Driscoll transfers were part of that school's Class 2A state championship team a year ago. "They bring a lot of experience with them," Dawson said. "You can't replace underclass experience and that state experience they have is invaluable." Dawson is also high on Gannon and Lee, an Elgin Academy transfer who led that school in scoring last year. "For the style of play we like I think we'll be able to keep up with that tempo this year," Dawson said. "We have some depth and we have several offensive threats."
